Join us for the CSO 2012-2013 Season Finale!

This season, the CSO performed several works by American contemporary composer, Michael Daugherty and we've saved two fun pieces for this concert-Motown Metal, inspired by the sounds of the Detroit auto industry, and Dead Elvis, an orchestral homage to Elvis that begs the question "Is the King really dead?" Guest artist, Benjamin Kamins joins the CSO to play the "Elvis" part on part on bassoon. Michael will be with us at this concert and during the week to work with university and highschool students and to discuss his process and his influences.

Mahler's dramatic Symphony No. 5 caps off the concert and closes out the CSO season!
