The Percussion Family
The newest family in the orchestra is the Percussion Family. ( A little tidbit....percussion instruments are the oldest instruments, but the newest to join the orchestra.) Rhythm, energy, and innovation are all a part of the percussion family.
Whether shaken, banged, tapped, or plucked, the exact beat produced by these instruments adds excitement and passion to the overall sound of the orchestra.
