Prentiss Hobbs

Prentiss Hobbs joined the CSO as 2nd Trombone in 2004. Regionally, he has played with the Memphis Symphony, Louisville Symphony, Huntsville Symphony, the Knoxville Symphony, Tuscaloosa Symphony, Baton Rouge Symphony, and the Nashville Symphony.

As a top call studio musician in Nashville, Mr. Hobbs has worked with artists such as Faith Hill, Wynonna Judd,Ben Folds, The Nashville Symphony and Amy Grant. He can be heard on the sound track for the film Hoodwinked.

Mr. Hobbs lives in Murfreesboro TN with his wife, Tammy Hobbs, a CSO Violist. In addition to playing the trombone, Mr. Hobbs enjoys collecting Hot Wheels cars and model railroads.
